IMEA District Festival
Congratulations to these students who auditioned and qualified for IMEA District Music Festivals. The Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) sponsors music festivals in the nine districts of the state during November. Students who qualify will attend the state music festival in Peoria during January. The different disciplines are Jazz Choir, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Concert Band, and Concert Choir.

 During break, musicians from both junior highs and the high school had the opportunity to audition for the Regional Music Festivals sponsored by IMEA (IL Music Educators Association). Results have been received and we are pleased to share with you the list of students who will be participating in the Regional Festivals.
The Jazz Festival will be at Woodruff High School in Peoria on November 1. The Band and Chorus Festival is scheduled for November 15 at Augustana College. The Orchestra Festival is at Northern Illinois University on November 22.
