2007 IMEA MUSIC FESTIVAL
AUDITIONS
Saturday,

at Geneseo High School
I, _____________________________________ give permission for
my child,
_______________________________________ to audition for the
2007 IMEA District Festival Orchestra. I
understand that part of the $25 orchestra fee that I have paid or need to pay covers the non refundable $5
cost for this audition.
We will be taking a school bus to attend this audition. Understand that this audition day is during
our first intersession break in October.
If your student is chosen to participate in the IMEA
(Illinois Music Educators Association) festival it will be held on Saturday, November 17 at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. This is an all day affair culminating in an
evening concert. The school covers the $15 fee for this event.
I will
inform you regarding the audition times after I have sent in the names of
participating students and IMEA organizers have given me the audition times for Washington
students. The audition times are
generally within a 2 hour time block.
